Fresh start

I start my new job with DVS tomorrow. I'm a but nervous, as it's always difficult to start a new job. It's like being the new kid at school AGAIN. Bad news..no recess. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long stay. Wish me luck!

Post from Defensive Driving snooooooooze fest.

I know you have all been there. I have to do defensive driving. *snore* I am sitting in front of my computer and then have my laptop in front of THAT computer so I can sort of pay attention....sort of not. :/ Is that bad? It's FIVE HOURS!!!

This is supposed to be a "comedy class". TERRIBLE. They have Elvis, the teacher from Ferris Beuller, Christopher Walken, and on and on teaching this class. I'm falling asleep literally as I type these boring words. Kill me now. This is literally my screen right now...

Amy the Crip

As if Amy needs anything else ridiculous to happen to her...she broke her ankle falling down a flight of stairs. And when I say that, I mean she tripped over one step and twisted her ankle but the first sounds sooooo much more entertaining.

So now Amy has the excuse she has always been looking for....

Moving Day!

Longest day ever. We woke up and had movers all day. We moved from our apartment, our little storage closet, and things we had at Anne's house. Tomorrow...the rest of our things that will most definitely fit in about 4 homes...not our tiny little garage. It will be interesting.
Our house is a disaster and its making us all go crazy (hence Mom's picture....)

One exhausted little girl

Well, I've officially reached the end of my career as painter. I'd like to thank my parents, who always believed in me and pushed me to be the best that I can be. My brothers and sisters for always supporting me....blah blah. Lost th humor after I typed the first couple words, let's be honest.

I just finished painting my closet, for which I am extremely proud.

Completely unnecessary, but a fun final product just the same. We are finally moving tomorrow. Mom and I woke up at 8 am and have spent the day packing, cleaning, and and as always, coming up with new ways goo gone is useful. I am ready to be lazy for awhile. I am more than ready to have the boxes out of my bedroom, into my new one to give me a different kind of headache so I can get organized. My room looks like the size of a peanut and it doesn't even have anything in it! The poor house's foundation will probably crack below my room due to my excessive (but always entertaining) shopping problem. Shoes, clothes, bags, wallets, anything Marc Jacobs, stationary, candles, matches, magazines, embroidery floss, hair products, pillows, anything anthropologie sells...you name it, I either have it it was extremely tempted by it. This is why I'm poor.....

Sledding fun

So my sisters and I decided to act like total children (which I am always happy to be a part of) and go sledding in the snow. There were many runs that were just...failures. But we eventually got it to work and all in all, had a super fun time. All I remember is Anne saying she's too old (because apparently 29 is the new 75) and throwing her back out, Amy's legs in the air, and me landing in a pile of mud. To sum up....day = success. Funny video on Anne's blog here.

Shoulda been a cowboy!

So this blog is also really after the fact...but nonetheless a good memory. Sarah has been frequenting "Cowboys" so we all made the trek to the hood. :) It's fun watching all of the crazy western dancers spin their partners 'round and 'round. People get seriously into it. It's a bit crazy. There are literally people being spun around above people's heads. Blake tried and failed at that. :) I give him and everyone else credit for being good sports and taking in the atmosphere. I am always a super big wuss when I got there and say "ooooo, sorry....can't dance. I wore heels -- whoops" when really I wear the heels on purpose. I'm pretty sure my ultra clumsy side would come out with that and I would eat face on the dance floor. Maybe there are lessons somewhere in my future, but for now...I'll just sit on the side and watch everyone being goofy.

Old man Jack.

enough said. bahahahaha

Anne's Birthday a month late

Okay so I feel bad. I totally forgot I had taken pictures on Anne's Birthday, but uploaded them yesterday! So let's all just go into our imaginary place and pretend today is January 31st.

Today is Anne's Birthday! We have everyone over to the house (even little Jack) to celebrate Anne becoming an old woman. (Next year it will be official. bahahaha) I love being the youngest. No matter how old I am...they are always older. :) ....if only I LOOKED like the youngest....

Anywho. Jack was a hit -- I feel like most of our birthdays will be overshadowed by this little 10 pound wonder.

The picture of Mark in the middle here craaacks me up. I was hounding him with pictures and he was so polite and just smiled. I don't think he feels like he can tell me to buzz off yet. :)

Lazy snowy Dallas day

Yesterday I had my interview. :/ blah blah...let's just go on skip right on past that.

Blake took me to a movie yesterday to cheer me up (I don't think that was his intention but it worked) and it was fun! The snow outside northpark was insane! Looking out over the courtyard was really pretty.

When you give a squirrel an inch....

Funniest thing I've ever seen. Sarah and I were quite literally rolling around on the floor with tears running down our cheeks on Superbowl Sunday after talking about this. What the h is this about? Who does this?

hahahahahahahaha
WAIT! EVEN BETTER!!! SKIP TO THE 46 SECOND MARK! My mom kept asking "who's driving the boat?!?!"

Hugs, tummy aches and clorox.

Ohhhhhh today. As everyone knows by now...my mom and I are still trying to get this house ready to move in. So when I go and do something else besides going to do the house to help...it's a very big deal. So this morning I woke up bright and early (all on my own I'll have you know) to set off to Pat and Stacy's house. I wanted to bring Stacy some clothes to borrow. Listen to this craziness -- Stacy is all like, "Ohhh nooooo, I haven't lost ALL OF MY BABY WEIGHT 4 WEEKS AFTER HAVING A CHILD SO I CANT FIT INTO MY SIZE ZERO PANTS" Uhh. Okay, okay...I have to admit...that was a slight exaggeration. (Or an outright lie. Love you Stacy...) But really...Stacy wanted some jeans until she has lost all of her baby weight and I offered her mine because let's face it...girlfriend has smaller hips than me. *eye roll* So basically anyone who knows me well enough knows that I use any excuse to go and see Jack and this way I got off by supposedly "doing something nice." No. I kid, I kid. But I did see my little Jacky Poo who looks pretty much like an adult compared to the last time I saw him (2 days ago).

He looks like a little bean. And look at the size of that CHIN! I don't know where he gets that but it's adorable and will make for a fantastic pout in the future when he is trying to get out of something. :) Totally just reminded me of Gary Coleman from Different Strokes.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I wont lie...neither Patrick OR Stacy probably super appreciate that reference since he's totally crazy town now but it's sort of a funny comaprison all the same. Jack was a little cranky today (apparently with a few stomach issues if you get my drift.....). However, after a little lunch and some playtime with his FAVORITE AUNT...little Charlie (we call him that sometimes because he looks like Charlie Brown) settled right down and fell asleep on my shoulder. *sigh+giggle*
What do you think? Pretty good comparison...

Anywho. After Aunt time, I went to the house to help my mom and inhaled a little too much Clorox. I left feeling dizzy and high. Uhhhh. IM A SLAVE! IM TELLING YOU! HELP!

On a brighter note, I have an interview tomorrow and really hope it goes well. Wish me luck!!

Worst painters ever

Um. My mom and I are officially the messiest painters. She was working on the ceiling and literally poured her bucket all over her. How that is possible I don't know...but mom was a biiiit clumsy today. :)

She's going "ohhhhhhhhh". Hahahahaha. I made her sit like that until I found my camera. Hahaha

My little boy!

I just cannot even get used to how adorable baby Jack is. I'm pretty positive I annoy everyone by talking about him all the time....but I just don't care. I'm completely in love.

Superbowl feaver!!

My lovely bfffff Sarah had people over on Sunday for the Superbowl. Blaker came with and we had a fantastic time. Copious amounts of alcohol and delicious food made by none other than Jimbo Neuhoff. Another fun night with our fun friends. :)

Packing, moving, and sore muscles.

As most of you know, we are moving once again. I absolutely despise moving. The packing...moving things...and then unpacking. It seems so silly when you are only going a few miles away. The positive thing about it is having a fresh start, getting to redecorate, and get organized!! So first things first...this house needed a serious face lift. More along the lines of Heidi Montag's "10 surgeries in one day" procedure...but you get what I'm saying. First in line is painting. Literally every single room. CEILING AND WALLS. *sigh* My poor muscles hurt just thinking of it. Mom and I started out on this venture last week. About 20 minutes into it, my roller and handle snapped in two, the roller rolled down my ponytail and flew across the floor. I was horrified to say the least. (Not the best start to a very long project.)

)
On Sunday Pat and Anne came over to help us paint. THANK GOODNESS! Let me tell you...I took a much bigger project on than I thought I had. Anne has some funny footage on her blog here too. I get a little hyper when I see people other than my Mom. Anne's painting pants got to be her painting pants because they had holes in them...so let's be honest. I took the liberty of tapin' her up. :)
hahahahaha. lovely angle Annie Fannie. :) I can't believe we have to go back tomorrow and keep painting. It's work for slaves I tell you!!! My mom is turning our home into a child labor sweat shop! Heeeeeellllpppppp!!!
