Howdy Pardner

Jack sprat graced up with his presence on Saturday and entertained me for hours. His outfit (the cutest thing you have ever seen in your life ) was a gift from Elizabeth Bailey. Elizabeth also made the little blue and red hat that made Jack into the cutest bird ever seen. I've never met Elizabeth but she must be fabulous (since she picks things out for my nephew that are beyond cute). Moving on...Jack is much more "active" these days instead of sitting there staring at nothing because he can't focus yet (I wont lie....now that those days are over I can say with no shame...he freaked me out a little bit when he would stare off looking at nothing). The pictures pretty much explain our day:

Peanuts Visit

I went to go see my peanut Jack today. He has this new thing where he has discovered his tongue. He also looooves sucking on his fist. Not his thumb. His whole fist. Thankfully he looks adorable with his tiny little tongue out. Pat came home and sat on the ground and started singing "everybody was Kong Fu fighting". Random lullaby choice but it was cute just the same. I managed to get some of it on video.

So I think Jack is looking more and more like Pat. He is so squirmy it's hard to get a picture but this is the best I could do:

It's the MOST wonderful time!....of the year.

Gather round your friends of mine. We're Wilderness Girls and it's cookie time. We work hard and we live here, so buy a box and do your share.

If you want the best taste that you can find, (yeah, yeah!!) Chocolate chips are one of a kind. (yeah, yeah!!) Our peanut butter dreams will blow your mind. A box of them would be so niiiice (try some!!) Cheap at even twice the price (buy some!!) So come on down, come on down, it's cookie time, it's cookie time....

Ladies and Gentlemen. It's cookie time. Can you smell the peanut butter and coconut in the air? Thin mints and Tag-a-longs !!! Ooo wee!! I can honestly say the air just smells better when it's girl scout cookie time. I had my first girl scout cookie this year at a bowling alley. I was talking to the cashier about them and she pulled out a bag of thin mints and made my day. And thus, Spring began. Ahhhhh, I can taste the chocolate and mint right now.

So funny story here. A couple of years ago when I was in college I literally, kid you not, ordered girl scout cookies on ebay (smart little Girl Scout who hawks them on ebay by the way...) and made myself have a heart-attack by eating too many thin mints. Actually....not a total "real life" heart attack per say....but I DID go to the emergency room thinking I was having heart issues. Yatta yatta yatta, three hours later I was diagnosed with heart burn from too many thin mints. Bahahahaha....

And just because this conjures up memories of my childhood we're gonna throw out one more "Troop Beverly Hills"er...."Her recommendations for a campsite were totally unsuitable. There were no outlets. And there was dirt, and bugs, and... and it rains there. So anyway, we've found a place that's much more us: the Beverly Hills Hotel."

Geek out time.

There is an iphone app that is soooooo nerdy that I LOVE. You literally keep a fish tank. That's it. But you clean it, feed your fish, buy fish, breed them....it's actually sort of fun. I feel like an 8 year old girl...but really....it's sort of entertaining. Okay. That's it!

So I don't know...if you're bored.........

Threedaysthrowninonebutmakingitintooneverylongpost....

Well, well, well. I have a few things to post but SOMEONE (my brother...boo) told me that my blog is terrible and that Anne's trumps us all. (I would like to say, "Game on Anne!" But let's be honest...Pat never updates his blog so I don't really care). Instead, I am going to continue to post my most likely uninteresting posts.

First off, on Saturday Anne came over and the three girls and my mom moved furniture all day.

I must say, we made some pretty serious progress with no men around. Anne (hopefully) will have her dining room set up and we have our living room set up! There were several pinched fingers, apparently Anne has gang green, and bruises...but all in all, we accomplished what we had hoped to. (after 6 hours.....)

Patrick came over (Patrick we wont even discuss your "situation"....) and helped move one cabinet and was "so tired" and needed to go home. Blah blah blah Pat. HOWEVER, Baby Jack and Momma Stacy came home last night...so I would have wanted to go home to see them as well. By the way...many of you have noticed I haven't posted any recent pictures of Jack. Well...that is because Patrick hasn't given us any updates..cough...your blog stinks....cough.....(maybe this will encourage him to give us all more pictures of CHARRRRLIE) but also because the latest picture of Jack, Amy "claimed" for her facebook and I wasn't allowed to put it
up. :/ Boo. BUT!! You can see it here.
Anyway, only a couple of pictures of moving, but cute just the same
.

ANYWHO. NEXT SUBJECT. SNOW!!!! It snowed last night like crazy though on Tuesday it's going to be 74 degrees and it was in the 70's a couple of days ago. Oh OH and did I mention it's almost APRIL! On a positive note with the weather however, I bought a hammock. Verrrryyyy excited about THAT one and am pretty sure when the snow melts and I get it up, that will warrant it's very own blog post. But back to present. The snow is fun and all but I'm a little annoyed with it...especially since I have TWO FLAT TIRES! Wah wah this week has been one thing after the next! So now I get to deal with that today when I was supposed to have a lazy sunday. :( Oh well. It happens to everyone, right?

So I have been trying to pick up Jack's baby quilt again. I had totally abandoned it for atleast a month and really need to finish it!! Just a little teaser....hahaha. I act like it's a new episode of "Gossip Girl"...don't they do teasers? I don't know. Pat's right. My blog does suck.

Birthday fun!

Poor Shepherd's birthday was taken over this year by having his wisdom teeth taken out. We went to Billy Reid to pick out a couple of shirts and ended up having to explain his ridiculous turrets-like behavior to quite a few people. Always funny to see people on pain medicine after surgeries.

Anywho, After that we went to dinner with his parents at Nonna. It was amazing! Everyones food was great and as always, it was great to see the Robinsons. Really cute little restaurant.

Birthday boy!!!

Love my friends. Happy birthday Shepherd!!!

A Mighty Green Day

So one of my favorite holidays...Saint Patrick's Day, was a huge success this year...as always. We were talking in the car on the way to Greenville that everyone always says this is the one thing that Dallas does right...and I have to agree. I always have the best time! This year Anne, Amy, Mark and I went to a couple of parties on Greenville. Instead of being responsible and going home and going to bed at 7:00 like I usually do, I went to the Mavs game with Shepherd. So much fun! Floor tickets and then Ghost Bar. Was home waaaay too late, spent way too much money and slept all the next day, but all in all -- the weekend was a success.

Anne will kill me for posting this picture of her dancing but I couldn't help it. It was my favorite picture from the whole weekend.

And Amy...there are just no words.
