I want my baby jack, baby jack, baby jack.....

Okay. I've been terrible at keeping this up -- HOWEVER! I have photos and things to update all on and will do so asap. Don't really have time to say much right now, but couldn't resist putting this new picture of Jack up. Cutest picture of him so far -- hands down. (My humble opinion, of course....) Mom and I think he looks like a little baby bird with that little mouth. :) Tee hee..

Life ongoing.

So nothing really fun or different is going on with me. I'm having withdrawal issues from not seeing Jack for almost a WEEK! :-( He is definitely number one on my list.

Mom and I are getting ready to move on the 1st into a new house on Northaven. I'm hoping it will be a good move for her and will be a bit more settled. We have been studying our little furniture pieces that we made out of graph paper and trying to plan out our rooms. (I love that my Mom has these pieces -- she needs to do this for a living! She's so good at interior decorating.) I don't have a picture of the outside of the house, but probably wouldn't want to put one up anyway. It's in desperate need of some flowers and "sprucing" up. I'm excited for us to get in and make it our home. Besides that, I'm still trying to actively find a job -- so if anyone hears from a little birdy that something is open...give me a ring! :)

I have been looking through magazines today and thinking about my sister getting married. This will be another very big year for our family and I'm so happy for Mark and Amy. I'm trying to think of the best possible use for the embarrassing and horrifying pictures of Amy that I have. I'll be brainstorming for the next 8 months. :) Anyway...nothing exciting to report. Maybe next time.

Jack Sprat is born!

So there is a huge payoff for being unemployed. :) (Besides being able to sleep in) I was available to be at the hospital when Pat and Stacy had little baby Jack! Stacy had a c-section and Jack was born at 9:11 AM. (MY BIRTHDAY!) He weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces and is 21 inches long. He is totally perfect and quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. I held him tonight and he is absolutely amazing! Jack is the first newborn I have ever held. Super exciting night. His little hands (that are actually huge in comparison to the rest of him) are so perfect and tiny. He smells adorable and has rolls like the michelin man (completely expected with our family). I'm an aunt!!! Jeez that makes me feel old. I will make Jack a promise today. I will always try and have candy or gum with me at all times. :-) Does that make it better? OH MY GOSH! I JUST REMEMBERED!!! I bought sour patch kids at the store earlier and forgot all about them. :-) See ya people...I have a box of cellulite and high sugar waiting for me.
